Every year on March 8, since the UN made the date official as International Women's Rights Day, we celebrate current achievements, remember past movements, and seek to continue the paths once paved for gender rights and equality.

For a long time, society kept women in a submissive condition; often for a woman to exist, she needed a man to take her under his wing before she could present her work, and it was not uncommon that she was not recognized as a full-fledged artist.

In the field of art, too, progress is being made. Women are no longer just muses, women are also being recognized for their talent. And it's about time.

And as we believe that we should continue to give space to women in the field of art, the idea was born among Brazilian women living in Paris and Brussels to start a cycle of exhibitions exclusively for women through photography, under the theme of this plurality, each one with her own identity.

Our project "Elles Mitraillent" wants to give the opportunity to female photographers of various nationalities to show their work and the strength of their images.

During 2022 we had the honor to exhibit the photographs in Paris, London and Zurich.

Far from being just a gathering of different photographs, our project seeks to immerse you in a plural female universe, with different backgrounds and experiences. The women have captured moments, compositions, and are sure to surprise visitors.
Our project aims to give voice to women photographers.
